Tambre Foundation

The Tambre Foundation is a non-profit making organization, established in 2003 to promote and stimulate scientific and training activities to promote research into the field of Assisted Reproduction, in all its aspects: gynecology, embryology, andrology and psychology.


Aims of the TAMBRE Foundation:

  • To promote and initiate new lines of research, leading to advances in the knowledge of human reproduction, improving assisted reproduction treatment and reducing adverse effects.
  • The Tambre Foundation was constituted as a forum for inter-disciplinary debate among the medical and scientific communities.
  • Promote the dissemination of knowledge in human reproduction in order to create that culture among professionals and scientists.

The Tambre Foundation is chaired by Dr. Caballero Peregrín, a pioneer in Assisted Reproduction research, and has totally up-to-date facilities, allowing for correct scientific and research development. At present several research projects are underway: the study of several sperm pathologies, fallopian tube pathologies, etc.


At present, we have cooperation agreements with Spanish and international universities, including Madrid Autonomous University (La Paz Hospital), the University of Badajoz and the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, USA), allowing for a broad exchange of knowledge and advanced research.


One of the activities of the Foundation is organizing the International Symposium on Human Reproduction, which three previous editions has come 20 Internationals Speakers and 40 Nationals.

Clínica Tambre

Since 2000 Clínica Tambre in Madrid has operated as a centre dedicated to general gynaecology and to infertility treatment through assisted human reproduction. Our Director, Dr Caballero Peregrín, began working in this field 30 years ago, making this the reproductive clinic with the most experience in the entire Madrid Region. To this experience we have added the innovative enthusiasm of the young professionals who form the medical core of the Clinic.

Dear colleagues and friends:


It is a pleasure for us to inform you about the celebration of the 5th edition of the Tambre foundation Simposium taking place from December 12th to December 14th in Madrid (Spain) and dedicated to Women Healthcare and Infertil Couple.

As in previous editions, we have worked hardly to select the most appealing topics to be discussed by Speakers known internationally.

Based on our undeniedble gynaecological vocation, we will deeply go through the matters related to the Human Reproduction such as Genetics, Andrology, advances on Reproduction Laboratory, review of ovarian stimulation protocols, update the luteal phase problems, breast disease and other topics of greatest interest, such as nursing in assisted reproduction and ethical problems derived from these techniques.
